Huge excitement today at Kernans as long time employee Cathal Curran a Killea man, currently living in Termon won it big yesterday in the Finn Harps Lotto picking up the €10,000 jackpot. What added to the excitement was he purchased his Lotto from another long time employee of Kernans and avid Finn Harps Supporter Patrick mc Bride.
“The phone rang at 10:30pm last night and Patrick told me I had won €50 which I was happy about , only to be told by him then I had actually won the jackpot” said Cathal.
“I’m absolutely delighted , it will definitely be put to good use especially with a wedding to plan for, it couldn’t have come at a better time”, I have been playing the Finn Harps Lotto for the last 3/4 years when Patrick first asked me if I would like to enter it for the year, it was money well spent and I owe Patrick a feast or 2 now for sure”.
Kernans have long ties to Finn Harps and are currently the main sponsors of the Finn Harps academy along with I Motors. Cathal, who is the Marketing Manager for Kernans has got to know the youth teams and management well this summer at Harps, attending the Craigavon Cup and Galway Cup to gain some promotional footage and help out with coverage of the events.
“I have got to know Kevin McHugh and all the academy coaches really well at Harps over the last 3 years with my roll with Kernans & I Motors, what they are creating is fantastic and I have loved every minute of it, they have been very good to me and it has been a great partnership”.
” I would definitely recommend everyone to purchase a Finn Harps Lotto ticket, it’s great support for the club’s future and you never know you could get lucky” said Cathal
Congratulations Cathal from everyone at Kernans.
