local runners Julie McMullin and Loretta Cullen (from Kernans Spar Bundoran)who raised over €35,000 for charity by running 618kms from Mizen in County Cork to Malin Head in County Donegal over six days back in August. They took on this task to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society, North West Hospice and Donegal Hospice and succeeded in raising €11,786 each going to the 3 charities.Both women lost their mothers to cancer and this was the driving forces behind the incredible challenge that they took on which was documented beautifully, step by step by Daly's Donegal.
